Those last 30 pounds

Hi everyone,
Im new to this forum. From what I can tell it looks like a great and supportive place to be. My story. About 3 years ago I was 250, then got down to 180 over the course of 6 months on the Atkins diet. I was at that weight for the last few years then gradually got up to 196. Back in June I began counting calories, got down to 172, and Ive been stuck here for the last couple months. Ive been keeping track of calories, carbs and exercise off and on (Ive slacked alot over the holidays). I am concerned that I am developing bulimia, which is only helping me not to gain...At any rate, making a healthy lifestyle work is especially important at this point. I think Ill start a diary on that part of the forum and am going to shoot for a 1200-1400 calorie a day diet, with 2 hours of exercise 3-4 times a week (1 hr of cardio and 1 hr of yoga). Its not a matter of knowing what to do but rather doing it.
 
Welcome to the forum! You'll love it, there are so many caring supportive friends here! I think your right on the money, I think most people know what they need to do to loose the weight, doing something about it is a whole other matter. Good luck with your diet! Welcome...you have come a long way baby!!! I am sure you will get to where you want to be,...I am a lil concerned about the bulimia comment as are you since you wrote it. So lots of support here to help you make healthy choices. I am myself am struggle with the post holiday motivation...mind over matter?...I am just going to pretend its June and get on with it :)
