This made my day

So you guys are probably going to think I'm a little wierd, but I've been dieting/working out for the last month and a half'ish. My starting weight was 282 and I just weighed in at 259. I still want to lose another 30lbs.

But what i thought was really cool is that I just fit in to jeans that i havent worn for a year or so, and they are actually baggy lol. I remember wearing these jeans and they would be tight around my thighs and waist, and now I need a belt :D It just feels good to be succeeding after going through some complete garbage in the past.

I know i have a ways to go yet, but my goal is 220, and then i'll be back at my football weight, and I know once I get there, the possibilities are unlimited.

Thanks!

Jordan!

(sorry if you think this thread is stupid, i just felt the need to share)

thats great dude keep it up and you'll get there.

Well done mate, no, this is not stupid, this is the start of your new chapter and we all want to read it and follow your future progression. Keep it up, you're doing great

Awesome! You must feel pretty good about that :)

Keep up the good work. And you're not weird for feeling like that and your thread isn't stupid. You've accomplished a lot and you deserve to feel good about it!

What could be less stupid than dwellin' in the songs of glory?

Looking better isn't enough. A brother needs to get his brag on, too! :D

Congratulations, but I am a little surprised/confused - did you lose 23 pounds in 6 weeks, 4 pounds / week? That would be 14000 kcal / week deficit = 2000 kcal / day. What was your calorie intake / day?

Honestly, I haven't really been tracking what I eat. Basically all I really did was eat healthy and cut back on the portion size. I'm not good at counting my calories. I guess I'm learning to do that. But for a month straight, i was doing alot of landscaping for cash. Which landscaping is relatively physical (as you probably know) and i'd go put in an hour of cardio at the gym on my way home. I started the day after my birthday which was July 28, so i guess its closer to 2 months.
