As to Lillian's 'this guy should have his balls chopped off' what about his wife who was an accomplice in the actual abduction and a participant all along? This kidnapping is similar to the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping by some psycho who returned to the Smart home for "seconds", and attempted to kidnap her younger sister too.
The kidnappers wife was a participant in the kidnapping even going alone with Elisabeth Smart in public places and stopping her from escaping.

If I recall this story correctly, the step-father watched a car pull up, and drove off with the child. So my only question is couldn't he have identified her/him who snatched the child? Or at the very least see the car and identify it quickly?

she should be tortured as well! sorry for not including her in my subject line. it was just quicker and easier to say have his balls chopped off. after all, he was the one who probably molested her when she was a child. his wife didn't get her pregnant, although yes she was involved for allowing it to happen. the both of them should suffer a painful death. i agree.
It's not always that easy. My wife accidently pulled out in front of a car once which she admits was poor concentration on her part but the guy in the car went crazy, overtook her, cut the road off with his car, got out and started trying to break into the car while threatening to kill her while our kids were in the back.
My wife was obviously scared but didn't call the police as she couldn't remember what the guy looked like, what car he was driving, the license plate number, absolutely nothing at all.
My sister had something similar happen to her too, a guy punched through her drivers window to try and grab her. She was so scared she could remember absolutely nothing
From the interview I saw of the dad, he saw the snatch so I imagine he was so shocked and scared that he didn't take much accurate information in.
From what I hear, they found the van fitting the description the husband gave at the kidnappers house. If the dad was in on it why would he give an accurate description?

The wife of this guy was an accomplice too in any rape/molestation just as in the Elisabeth Smart story. The wife probably played a role in programming the victim and in threatening/coercing her Not all the facts have emerged, so its useless speculating though. I feel for the poor girl.
Are you simply playing devils advocate or what is your point. If someone from another state drives up and kidnaps your step-daughter in a manner of seconds, you have not got a police helicopter to chase them. What exactly is your point?
Or organ donors? Keep them in a cage at the hospital and when someone comes in that needs something you can just cut it out of them.

well, I sometimes see a patterned and it kinda has a way of sucking you into the horrors...... I remember some time back there was this period where men were getting their penises chopped, bitten, self removed, hacked, off all over the place....it was so weird. everyday I'd see some weird article that some man lost his wang in some weird way.....lol
