Thinking about finally doing it and need major advice

I'm a evening college student and my semester is wrapping up in the beginning of December, i'm thinking about hitting the gym to lose weight.. but i don't know where to start, what my workout schedule should be, what i should be eating.

Usual Foods Eaten During

Breakfast : nothing
Lunch : nothing
dinner : *in college* snacks and sodas then i would come home and eat salami sandwhiches microwavable "chicken patty's" and drink.. cups and cups of soda.

height : 5'10
weight : 260-290 (don't know as of now) *im looking to get to 170*

why haven't you read the stickied threads?

that's where you are going to get the answers to your questions, if there's something in those threads you don't understand -ask the question in that thread
