Sport The truth about eggs

Sport Fitness
I heard that in a hard boiled egg if you only eat the whites you get all the nutritional value but none of the fat. Is this true? Or is the yoke as important? I like eggs and want to eat them but I am worried about the amount of calories and fat in them.

The white does not have any fat in it. You need to figure out your calorie requirement for your goals then divise a diet based on that and if the fat from the yolk fits into your requirement, then its fine.

with the whites you get just the protein. the predominant fatty acid in yolks is oleic which is the identical monounsaturate found in olive oil. the yolk also contains the vitamins and minerals
