Sport The right foods to lose body fat but retain muscle

Hi all, Im pretty new to this whole internet merlarky, so I apologies if this question has been asked a fair few times.

Does anybody know what types of food you should eat and how much ,, that will help to reduce body fat, but also at the same time retain muscle.
I am assuming protein would be best, but what would the ratio of protein carbs and fats needed for the most efficent weightloss programme???
