ten-pounder

hey all, i'm new here and while i've looked at this forum from time to time, i never really got the time to join but now that im on spring break, i thought it'd give it a go.
see, i've always been trying to shave off the last ten pounds or so (hence the name) and i've been having trouble. i generally like to eat at night and doritoes basically make my life fulfilled and happy. but i've decided to stop that because the summer's coming up, i live by the beach, and i really need to get back in shape.
i'm already scheduled to join the track team at my school once SB is over but i don't think that's enough. my goal is to have a beach-body - imagine alessandra ambrosio's body so i've got a long way to go from now. i was just wondering if anyone knew any exercise programs, routines, etc that i should be getting in to. i used to do bikram, then stopped, but i'm going to start going again once i get back to canada.
over christmas break, i shaved off around 9 pounds cause i was elsewhere and all i did was shop but since getting back to canada, i gained weight because ... i'm lazy? i don't shop as much? ate more? something like that. and at that time, i barely ate and i'd hate to go back to that. i love food too much; more than i hate exercising so i'm choosing exercising.
does anyone have tips they can help me with? i was thinking about jogging either two or three times a week for half an hour and lifting light weights for another twenty minutes and doing bikram once, maybe twice. i'm also drinking more water and trying to curb my junk food habits so if anyone could give me any advice, i'd appreciate it.

edit: oh, and i also drink a fair amount of alcohol on weekends. generally only on fridays and saturdays and i'm inclined to take days off on friday and saturday, if that'll change anything.
