The OCCASIONAL soda pop....would you sacrifice the calories to have real sugar or drink the chemical known as aspartame to save them. Lets hear both sides...

Do you really think that the 35 grams or so of real sugar and the 150 calories or so is better for your body and fitness goals than drinking chemicals?
 
I'd have the chemicals.. I've never really bought into the sweeteners being all that bad.. besides, if they are dangerous, it probably takes a lot more than the occasional soda
 
I would bite the bullet and have the real sugar. The high fructose corn syrup is bad enough, but a chemical like aspartame? I don't know WHAT that's doing to my insides.
 
I'd have the real stuff
