Weight-Loss The most important meal of the day

It is common knowledge that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and vital for weight loss. However, I struggle with this. I notice when I first wake up I have zero appetite. I have to force myself to eat something. Usually it is just something small like a bowl of cereal or yogurt. As the hours pass my hunger comes back in full force. By evening my appetite is at its highest of the day. It seems like the time I'm supposed to eat a good meal I'm not hungry, and when I'm not supposed to eat a lot of food is when I'm most hungry.

I had this problem, because partly (I think) I used to have heavy dinner or late dinner before going to the bed. Trying not eating late/heavy and wait eagerly for the next day's breakfast, you'd wake up wanting to the swallow the whole world.

And while having breakfast tell yourself, this is going to be my heaviest and most probably the richest.

It's gonna take some getting used to, but if you eat less in the evening, you'll get used to it, and at the same time, you'll have more of an appetite in the morning.

Nobody can deny the importance of breakfast but eating early in the morning is a problem for most of the people. You can have an early dinner and take liquids for breakfast such as a glass of orange juice or grapefruit juice and then eat something later.

A healthy breakfast doesn't have to be time consuming, and I think it's well worth getting up ten minutes earlier for.

Skipping breakfast only makes you lethargic and irritable and according to weight loss gurus fatter. It is better to eat something and burn it off by working instead of starving and retaining fat.

QUITE agree. I CAN'T get up earlier than 8 am. my breakfast time is nearly 9 am.. I DON'T pass every breakfast beacaue its important role.I ALWASY HAVE MILK AND BREAD. I find it's a good beginning for a day.As dinner.. I ALWAYS eat earlier, about 5 pm. and that time I DON'T feel hungry so I eat a litter.. THEN at about 8 pm, i also eat some foods, more is fruit. This diet menu is more meals, less each as Premise. SO i still keep slim .

As others have pointed out before me, gradually decreasing your portion in the evening, will make you feel hungrier in the morning for breakfast. I went through that myself when I started "training" myself to have breakfast. Now I can't imagine myself skipping breakfast because I always wake up hungry for breakfast ... Even when I'm not really in control of what I eat... but I happened to have kept some of the changes I made when I did lose weight in 2009 such as this breakfast thing...

Skipping breakfast isn't good for weight loss :waving:
