This was Mals Idea...I LOVE IT - however we need to figure out how to work it and then those of us who have survived can go get beer!!! Heeheehee!!!

you could also do the Long Walk challenge - a book i'm obsessed with -

100 miles - at a minimum of 4.1 mph whoever hits 100 miles first -- wins

4.1 mph is a pretty fast clip walking -it's just under a 15 minute mile - so you can decide what that woud translate to exercise wise...

Suggestions ???
 
4.1...eek. Can we lower it to about 3.5? I have short legs and 4.1 for me is running---I'm not brave enough to run in public yet, maybe when my boobs shrink some more but for now I think I'd kill someone with these babies! :)

HaHaHa..I hear ya there...I dont want it to be running...my typo was tit, oh my, lol...We can set a certain amount of miles to make a day or somethign ??? Or a week adn checkk in daily o I dunno...I like the idea we just gotta figure out how to go abt it!!!
 
i think each person should have their own goal for what consititutes 4.1mh (I know i'm not there yet but I will get there eventually - right now i am betwee 3.7 - 4.0 but i can't stay at 4.0 for more than a few minutes)

I don't think a leisurely stroll around the block should count towards the total but if someone is working at it -then it does -

Honor system :D

By the time the 100 miles is reached a person's speed should increase
 
Yes or I was thinking personal goals and if you dont meet them you get booted or should we just do a miles walkign to somewhere challenege ???

Like I say I am going to do 5 miles a day on the Elliptical and post it and if I dont do that daily and post it daily im out kinda thing...

Maybe we should just walk away from fat - one fatty city to the other as originally talked abt ???
 
the walking from somewhere to somewhere is also fun - it's your challenge - whatever you want to do is fine :D

but if you do - do a do it or get booted -keep in mind that not everyone exercises every day.. I take fridays off...

Ya me too but I figured that is were the personal goals come in...right so I will exercise30 mins a 6 days a week or something...I dunno, i think this is gettin to complocated but I love it...why dont I do a walking challenege and you figure this out and I will join, lol
 
Ok, sometimes mapquest just really fascinates me.

There is a town in Tennessee called 'Burger' and there's a lake in California called 'Lettuce Lake'. It's 2380 miles from Burger to Lettuce Lake.

Also there's, Blubber Creek, Montana and Skinny Creek, Arkansas which is 1930 miles.

Crazy. :)
 
LOL.. who names these cities??? & would you ever move to a place called Blubber Creek? Ok I think I just burned about 30 calories laughing!

I'm up for whatever challenge we can come up with. I love the miles walked from place to place. But the personal one might be fun too. I know I would like to get up to 10,000 steps everyday, but know that somedays it just doesnt work. I'm so surprised at how well the other challenge has worked & how it has been so motivating.
 
I ahve been sick but would like to join. Hope that's not a problem? Let me know.
