The importance of knowing your body type

UP to two years ago i was doing everything wrong as far as NUTRITION, why? because i did not know( and did not bother to know) my body type. THE body type,s i am speaking of ECTOMORPH ( HARD GAINER) MESOMORH, ( BUILDS MUSCLE AND BURNS FAT VERY EASY) AND THE DREADED ENOMORPH,( WHO HAS A VERY HARD TIME LOSING FAT), what i did find was that i am a MESOENDOMORPH, i could gain muscle but have a very hard time burning fat. SO, not to bore you with this, i adjusted my diet to my body type---AND DID IT WORK, yes i do have to work much harder then my counterparts but i do get very good RESULTS. WHAT i am saying is, that if you know what your body type is anyone can get the results they want, if i could do it anyone can.======WORK HARD AND EXPECT RESULTS!

DO you know anything about body types, if so please help me out i am always willing to learn. I just thought maybe it could help someone who has the same problem, sorry if i typed this in the wrong area, i did not expect all the negitiveity.

body type realization can be important in some situations, thanks for trying to help out. :]
 
Hi Tenreps, people have different body types which to a certain extend limits what you can achieve. But a body type diet doens't make sense. Bottom line is that you lose weight when your calorie intake is lower than your calorie consumption - full stop.
 
What kind of changes did you do because of your body type? And why did these changes suit your body type? What I'm asking is, what is it that's different about an ecto, meso, endo, or whatever- morph, that says they need to eat or train in a certain way?
