I agree, getting ill just to lose weight is not a good idea. Take a look at the types of food you are eating and cut out processed foods high in fat and hidden sugars as much as possible. You don't need to get hungry in order to lose weight, just make sure you are eating 5 or 6 small meals a day and include plenty of fibre from foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables. You also need to do some exercise each day to burn calories. It doesn't have to be hard work, even just a 20 minute walk across the park each day will help.
