The dreaded plateau...

Last year I lost about 50lbs in roughly 8 months and then I just stopped losing weight. I've gained about 4 pounds of it back but it fluctuates and I still have about 50-60 more lbs to go. I started out at 256 and now I'm down to 209-205. I'm a woman so it fluctuates monthly, unfortunately.

Currently, with life, I haven't exercised in about 2 weeks since my mission trip to CZ. I actually lost weight there despite how I ate - which was horrible as far as calories are concerned. I am a calorie counter - that's how I lost weight the first time along with exercise. I did the smart and healthy thing as best I could. I'm the only person that has ever made this weight loss trek in my family so I've had to learn as I've gone. It's a miracle I lost as much as I did considering how utterly clueless I was to all of it.

Anyway, I need some help and some ideas about how to go about getting back to losing weight. Currently I cannot afford a gym membership but I do live in a place I can jog/walk/run. Are there any of you here that have gone through what I have/am? I don't know of many people at all really who've had to lose as much weight as I have.

I'd like to be about 190 by the end of the summer. A number I haven't seen in 12 years.

I have lost 90 pounds over the course of a few years - about 2 years ago I hit a plateau and back in January I started a program called P90X and it helped me bust right thru that plateau!!!

Wow, awesome! My dad actually just bought the Beach Body Insanity and P90X a while back. I just figured it was another flop of an at home workout program. I've tried others in the past but just didn't get anything from them. If it helped you break a plateau then I'm certainly willing and excited to try it!

Thanks so much :)
