the best supplements to take?

Hello everyone. I am looking for advice to reaching my maximum in terms of strength. I read the posts and you guys know what your talking about.

I was curious, what are the best supplements to take? What is the best to get maximum protein absorbtion, the best for creatine, and the best for glumantine (what does that even do?) what is the best for keeping yourself cut (fatburner)?

I take GNC Whey Iso Burst. I get 39 grams of protein, plus i drink milk with it, so im getting 50 grams of protein. does this sound good?

Isopure is the best protein there is. I wouldn't waste my time and money on fat burners. The only things I believe in are protein (30 grams every four hours), and creatine (effervescent is the best).
 
IMHO, the most important in order are:

*Protein powder (go for the cheapest one that offers 25g or more protein per scoop and is low in fat and carbs)
*creatine (improves muscles ability to contract)
*glutamine (helps with recovery)
*flax seed oil (provides the 'good' fats you need)
*glucose (helps with energy)

Dont bother with fat burners. If you must, drink coffee - the caffeine stimulates fat burning.
 
i guess i got a crappy protien powder?

mines like 18g protien and only 1 carb? i mean it doesent sound too bad ? i guess
 
Outlaw - if you can only afford a powder with less than 25g of protein per portion (like me:) ) then dont worry. If you can get 25-30g great! the carbs are supposed to be low - after all its a protein powder not a carb powder!

50g is too much for the body to absorb in one hit - try splitting into half a scoop pre-workout, and half a scoop post workout.

yea, i'm in the same boat. My scoop is only 16g ... i get it from Costco and it seems to be pretty good. I rarely only use one scoop though ... generally go from 1 1/2 -> 2, but I also usually have a chicken meal close after, which is about another 15g.
 
im gettin metrx pure protein shakes. ~65 cals per scoop with 15 g protein. NOT BAD. taste aint that great but thats hardly the point. also using cell-tech. why? my brother gave me some left over, thats why.
 
a buddy of mine tried it. he said it helped him sleep better but that was about it
