I'm Von Jenkins and am a believer in Christ and looking for friends who share the same belief, so if your out there feel free to contact me. My page is always open.
These verses will sum up who I am and what I'm about. If you have any questions pertaining to any, please feel free to ask. I was also told that my profile intimidated some people, and I apologize if I made anybody feel that way. I promise you that you won't have anything to be intimidated about. I am just a regular person much like anybody else, so please do not be intimidated to speak to me. Finally, before I get started just because I have scripture on my profile, that doesn't make me perfect. To be honest, I am far from it and nobody on this earth is perfect either. I can say one thing though, it is through Christ that we are all made equal. Nobody is better than anybody. We are never to tear someone down, but to build people up in love and in kindness.
1) Matthew 5:16, "Make your light shine, so that all may see the good that you do and praise your father in heaven."
2) Luke 6:37-38, "Jesus said: Don't judge others, and God won't judge you. Don't be hard on others, and God wont be hard on you. Forgive others, and God will forgive you. If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated."
3) Luke 12:34, "Your heart will always be where your treasure is."
4) Luke 14:11, "If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored.
5)1 Peter 3:15-17, "Honor Christ and let him be Lord of your life. Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks about your hope. Give a kind and respectful answer and keep your conscience clear. This way you will make people ashamed for saying bad things about your good conduct as a follower of Christ. You are better off to obey God and suffer for doing right than to suffer for doing wrong."
6) Hebrews 11:1, "Faith makes us sure of what we hope for and give us proof of what we cannot see."
These are just a few of the many verses I live my life by. I should also say that if you are not a Christian then that is okay. I will not treat you in a negative way. I welcome all people here no matter who your are, where you come from, or what you believe. I am Von Jenkins and I hope to meet whoever wishes to meet me.
For those of you that may feel that you walk alone in your journey in either fitness or being a Christian, then I offer to you a community to come and no longer feel like you stand alone. SWAG FITNESS is a faith-based business that will encourage people to hold one another accountable in faith and exercise, to build one another up and not tear one another down. I plan to use YouTube and any other social outlet I can to provide that community for my followers. I want to bring the gym to them and to emphasize the point that you don't need a gym to always get in a good workout, and that fitness can be done anywhere.
