I see a psychiatrist once of month because I have bipolar disorder. She told me about a book and workbook called the Beck Diet solution. All you really need is the workbook. It is based on Cognitive therapy and helps you to build one new habit a day. You choose a nutritious diet plan--in fact you pick two. You make modifications as you see fit. It is supposed to be something you are able to do forever. I love mexican food and have worked it in twice a month at my favorite restaurant. The author of the book enjoys a snack every evening. The book talks about learning new skills. There are cards to read that are encouraging when you are having a tough time. One of the most helpful things for me has been learning to give myself credit for everything I do correctly and to not give up if I get off my plan. Just thought I would share...
