My knees are knocking at posting so please be kind!
I'm a 34yr old stay at home mummy to my two girls. I've been over weight since childhood and have dieted for years but enough is enough. Last July I said I'm going to shift this weight and I'm not giving up this time. It's been hard but I had lost 2st then put a tiny bit back on. I'm currently 1st 9 down on starting weight but I haven't given up. I've continued to go to my weekly weigh in with slimming world despite the knowledge I've gained. Giving up is not an option for me. I need that weekly check in.
I know that I need to tone up too so when my neighbour asked if I wanted to join the gym with her I quickly accepted. She's had a hip replacement at 32 and needs to start the gym again for rehab. Given she doesn't drive and can't get there, I'm committed to going even when I don't want to because of her and once we are there she keeps me motivated.
I also want to generally build a bit of strength and generally improve me health
I have lots of questions so I'm hoping you lovely folks will be able to help me without making me feel like a complete idiot.
Well done if you've made it this far and thanks for your time
