Team Hurricane Tricksterz

Damn.

That is some serious skill right there.

In a real fight that looks like it would be crap there legs look like there loose and would snap on contact lol but then again mayby im wrong but to me some one just charging at them would smash them down. more like an art or a dance i think ???

I was thinking the same thing. It looks more like a dance form than actually functional martial arts - sort of like Bruce Lee school of gymnastics:) .

Still, though, very cool.

Who cares? No one made the claim that these guys were great fighters, what's the problem with just appreciating that this takes skill, stamina, and a whole mess of speed.

And "The Octagon" isn't exactly the supreme test of fighting capability, either. Everything has it's own adaptations, the "realest" of them all would be on the street...Would you really want to take a fight to the ground if there's broken glass or hypodermic needles on the floor? Would you want to breakdance someone to death if the quarters are very small and confined? No, and no.

In the end all that matters is that these guys are good at what they do, and they make no claims of any type of application or anything.

Never said it was not cool, just wondered if there was any practical use for their skills.

Just used the octagon as an example. They could also fight on top of a volcano, that would be pretty extreme.

I understand what you are saying though. :)

Haha, I was just gonna say the same thing...well, the first part anyways. I thought it was pretty sick and very skillfull. But yea, I showed it to my asian friend who like teaches kenpo karate and he was trying to explain to me of how it wasn't practical lol

Geez Lei, chill out. ;)

No one is saying it isn't very cool, nor are we saying it doesn't require an insane amount of skill and stamina.

Is it actually a martial art, and what form? (not that I'm terribly familiar with all 64,000 forms) I ask b/c it sort of looks like they basically took one (or more, I don't know) martial art, and put a kind of spin on it.

Btw, they were built very athletically, which I guess they would have to be to do all that.

Dudes, I'm totally calm. I'm just pointing out that there is no need to jump down their throats for the reasons that "it's not practical" or whatever...Because, that's not really the point. I mean I'm the first one spitting hot fyah at these guys the second they talk about how deadly their stuff is (XMA), but if they don't do that and only let themselves be the show that they are, then I have no qualms.
