Taylor's Diary

Well this is my first diary on this site. I have tried many times to follow a regimen but I have failed, so I figured if I wrote in a journal everyday I would stay on track.
I am 17 and weigh 240lbs. I play catcher in baseball and am going to try and go to the gym and ride my bike much more than I am currently doing.
I have never done a journal before so this is a learning experience for me. I’ll be writing down what I eat and about my triumphs and failures.

Today I decided that I am going to get my act together. Tomorrow I am going to wake up at 9:00 (it’s summer and I am a teenager can’t expect better J ). I’m going to make myself two eggs, scrambled, and have some toast. Then I’ll probably just hang out and do chores for a couple hours, then I’ll go for a bike ride and maybe hit the gym…
I’m not “officially” starting anything yet because I am going to slowly get rid of all the bad food in the fridge and when that is complete I’ll officially start because I will have all good food in my fridge and wont be tempted.

Let’s see how this goes.

Lets see if you post again...

Gotta love the faith here huh?
A lot of hectic things have come up in my life lately so haven't been able to start excersizing yet...
But I have made a lot of healthy descisions like choosing a juice over soda... or wheat bread instead of white... or an apple for a snack instead of a candy bar...
So yeah, every little step counts I guess...
And I really would appreciate only positive comments in my journal.
Thanks

It was positive, you posted again with an update. That shows that you're still around and thats great. Glad to hear your taking some steps and didnt just leave. Even if you dont start, keep this thing updated once in a while to show you didnt quit. Good Luck

Have been slacking lately with my food intake and the things I drink. Time to crack the whip again and get back on track... Baseball season is over so i'm gettin a job and gonna buy a gym membership.

Just popping in for a quick update.
I have been keeping my diet tight the past couple of weeks, watching what I eat and all that painful crap ;-). But I have a problem, I over-eat when I go to friends houses or whatever, I'll eat some chips, have some soda, and then feel like crap afterwards. I guess the only thing that will help with that is will-power.
