Tattoos on Women - Yay or Nay?

I think tattoos can be attractive to an extent, but anything that is distracting is a turn off (i.e. "major back piece")... I prefer something classy, discrete and well-done

but I’m just one opinion, I’m sure there are plenty of guys that like a little more ink than I do.

I love tats on women!

I went out with a girl once just because she had a tattoo of a cat scratch on her belly. That was it for me. I'd have married her right there and then if only she hadn't started talking.

She just wouldnt shut up!
 
I've never dated a girl with a tattoo, and don't really find them attractive. I'll admit some are 'teh hawt', as allen puts it, but I have bad intentions if I'm looking for 'teh hawt'... lol
 
I agree with mreik, I don't have any and I don't particularly like them on women, but to each his own. And I agree with some other posters, a small discrete one of the appropriate subject would not be a large turn off, and I would hope not to judge someone by their body art, but by the "character of their soul" (I think that was Martin Luther King's phrase?). Are any of you old enough to remember when the tatooed lady was a "side show attraction" at the circus?
 
I think a couple of small ones on a woman is attractive but anything more tends to to turn me off.

I was in the grocery store the other day and I saw this guy that had his whole face tattooed. I must have stared at him for like 5 min, bad I know, but the only thing I could think in my head was "what in the hell happed to this guy for him to wake up one day and say, I want to tattoo my whole face"

Tattoos on women are hot if they are in the right places. nothing turns me off more than a woman with tattoos on her arms. thats just too masculine.

Even Pamela Anderson (barbed wire arm band)?

I don't like the arm ones on women either, or on the boobs (too Roseanne Arnold). I have a "tramp stamp" - lower back, actually it's 2 (but looks like 1) - a tribal, then had one put under it, and an iris on my ankle.
 
i think tattoos on girls are ugly,such a turn off.
but, my previous girlfriend had a tattoo at the base of her spine which was a curly tribal design.
that was so ****ing hot

My boyfriend says you can't take a girl to a nice classy place with a huge tatoo showing on her body.

I think a small one that is only seen by your partner is ok though. I don't have one but I think some look ok....

I just keep thinking about being 60 with wrinkly-stained skin and it's enough for me to stay away LOL. But to each his own (or her own) :p
