What do you guys think of the tarahumara and their running? You know, the tribe from Mexico that runs in sandals and run about 80 miles a day? men's health had an article on em last month (the month before the idiot rock was on the cover) and it was pretty cool. They talked about shorter running steps to help with knee problems...and that, combined with less footwear, also contributes to stronger feet and less injuries. They say that bc there's less padding, it forces your feet to become stronger and thus less injuries (nike Free) and that the shoes with the extra padding make your feet weaker and more vulnerable to injuries. I've been trying to find articles on their running technique, but I can only find programs for sale, eh well.
