Hello everyone! Newcomer. Newbie. So, what you need to know about me:
I'm a 27 year old female from the sunny south and a possible Marine in the making. Here's the thing, guys. I am 5'4 (technically 5'3 1/2 but I give myself the extra half inch because why not??) and 127lbs. My goal weight is in the 110 to 115 range but I am having the HARDEST time shedding those few extra pounds. I run 20 mins 3 days a week, eat reasonably healthy but still think I need some added motivation and maybe a few tips and tricks to reach my weight loss goal! Ready, let's go!

Sounds like you have the wrong goal. If you are aiming to be a marine, doesn't that mean you are getting in great physical shape? Which means adding muscle? Your weight will probably go up before it goes down.

On that note, are you hitting the gym for weights? Muscle is the furnace that burns calories. The more muscle, the more calories that burn doing nothing and while exercising. Don't worry, as a women, you will not get huge muscles. Do high reps and you will be on your way to looking great (and not worrying about the scale) and being a marine. Good luck!

Yeah, you're probably right. Maybe it's not weight to lose, but muscle to gain. I'm reasonably thin, I just want to be tighter. Ya know, tone it up a bit. I have not been in the gym in a while. My exercise mostly consists of running. Gotta be in tip top shape to serve and protect. And, thank you!!
