Well, it's 10:20am here on Wednesday 15th Feb and I have the week off work. I am sitting here thinking about going to the gym and not putting that cigarette into my mouth and going to order fish and chips. I have a cold at the moment which has also drained me, but should be no excuse. I really want to go and eat something yummy as in Fish & Chips or McDonalds but I know I shouldn't. So anyway, I will include some pics of me (which can also be viewed in Before and After threads) and hopefully I can lose some weight and get back into training I would like to lose 46.5kgs of fat but also gain muscle. I am currently 124.5kgs. I stand at approx 178cm tall and I am 27 years old. LET'S DO IT!!!!!

just so everyone knows, a kg is equal to 2.2 pounds. :) i think i chose 4-5 months but it will really depend on how motivated you are!

I chose the 5th one...since it'll really depend on how motivated you are and how good your metabolism is. I think it's perfectly achievable in less than a year :)

Thanks all. I hope we get some more replies and votes over the course of the year, Lets see who will be right.

Just as some extra information, I do (well, going back to) Martial Arts - hence the user name. I have been training on and off since 1986 when I was a little tacker. If I can get motivted enough to get back to the gym (which I finally did this morning) and get into training and do about 5-6 classes of either per week, I should drop the kg's pretty quickly - providing I eat correctly.

I would be interested to see other people's thoughts on this and if you have achieved a similar weight loss as to what I would like to achieve, feel free to post and tell me about your tricks of the trade and more importantly, what foods to eat as that is my biggest downfall. Thanks once again :) :)

It's really hard to say how long your weight loss will take. Depends on your metabolism. You could drop it much quicker than the average person if you really tackle it and your body bounces back. I wish you the best! Keep going, I hop eyou take it off quick! Just give yourself some time and work with your body.
