Swiss Ball??

Ok So I Was Told That I Should Try Using A Swiss Ball For Exercising. I Know Nothing Of How They Work. Ive Googled How To Use Them And Moves I Can Try Using Them But What Do You All Think About Them And How Well Do They Work?
If Im Gonna Get One, How Do I Know What Size To Get And Do They Come In Different Firmnesses?
Total Ignorance I Know Sorry!! Lol

Hey, i suppose to choose the size that you want, ive got one myself and concerning the firmness, you can just alter how much air is pumped in it.
Usually when you by them you get a booklet inside that has a list of pictures and exercises that you could do. Just off the top of my head you could use it for squats against the wall, crunches, hamstrings, altered pushups, basically anything you could think of

Like Matt said, they are not a big deal to handle.

For your workout they can be a big deal. I have 3 diff sizes to use, and they help with alot of things.

Try doing your crunches, nice and slow, and with a twist on top of one.

for the guys, and fit girls, try doing your pushups with one hand on one, or one foot, or both feet.

Mens fitness had a challenge a few months back to develop the balance to stan up on one and do a squat. CAREFUL with that! hehe

To you Meg, it sounds like you are getting advice from all different resources.

So, here is a piece of advice- PICK A SOURCE or a person and give it 60-90 days of consistent 3-4 days a week. then start evaluating based on the results you start to see.

that's enough out of me, off to see a movie...hehehee

AZN - when you are sitting on top of the ball, you should have ~90º in your hips and knees.

Meghan - I too think you need the 65cm ball. Good luck -- I LOVE the stability ball!!
