Swimming compensate for running???

I used to do alot of running, and was actually good at it, but the problem is I hate it.

If I start swimming, can I cut my running out all together if I go every day???

Is this the only CV workout I will need?
 
of course you can cut the running not if you swim every day but if you swim even three times a week but swim right, hard and good.
swimming is a very good exercise and it burns more calories then running. the only problem with swimming is that it cools the body when running isnt, it warm you up. this is a problem because when you are warmed up you dont want to eat and after you swim you are starving and thats why swiming dont take your calories off.
but if you can swim and not eat strait after it so you are fine and have a good swim.
