Sweating it off

So, I'm running a lot, then doing a bunch of other exercises outside, in 95 degree heat, with no break, for hours at a time. Naturally, I'm sweating up a storm. So, I get on my scale and I'm 3 pounds lighter. I just lost tons of water from my body. So, since I only lost water weight, does this really count as weight loss? Can I really say "oh, I lost 3 pounds"?

I'd guess not... only because as soon as you have a glass of water or a meal then it would all go back on again... i think... i'm not too sure. lol

Yes you lost 3lbs of WEIGHT.

But you prob lost next to nothing FAT.

If your aim is weight loss, yes you can say that, but if your aim is FAT loss then no.

You really should only weigh once a week, weighing every day is a bad indication cause your weight can fluctuate 5lbs a day.
