Hey everyone, I have an assignment for my Critical Thinking and Writing class to survey some people and ask certain questions. I figured where else better to start than here? :) Any replies would be helpful, but I do indertsnad if you're not interested! Thanks!

The assignment is on reality television. (Such as: Real World, Fear Factor, Survivor, Bachellor, Game shows, Date My Mom, ..... sooo many more)

3. Why do you watch these show?
4. How long have you watched the show?
5. Do you ever talk to your friends about the show? What do you say?
6. Can you relate to any of the characters?

2 ) Friends, Apprentice,Biggest Looser and ER...are my fav's
3) I have been watching friends since H.S. THey are SO funny!, The apprentice makes me think,The biggest looser gives me motivation, and I have a small bit of a medical background, so I can relate and enjoy ER b/c of it
4) Friends since H.S.,Apprentice and Looser, since they started, and ER, just the past 2 yrs (noah wiley is SOO hot)
5) I normally just ask if they've seen it and talk about that certain episode
6) I always seem to find one character that is similar to me, in almost every show I watch!

2. What Not to Wear (american and british), Trading Spaces, and Ballroom Bootcamp
3. I love What Not to Wear because I can get AWESOME fashion tips and ideas just by watching, and it's fun it see people go through such awesome changes. And Ballroom bootcamp is a new show, and it basically takes three ordinary people who don't know how to dance and through a series of 5 weeks they learn a specific dance and compete against each other (with professional partners) and whoever wins gets the trophy...and it's fun to watch to see people learn something they never thought they could. Oh, and Trading spaces because it's awesome to see people change their friend's rooms :p
4. I've been watching What Not to Wear for a couple years and I've been watching Ballroon bootcamp just one week :p Trading Spaces I've watched for..oh...3?4?5 years? Can't remember, it's been so long!
5. I talk to my mom about the shows a lot, and only one or two friends who watch them as well.
6. Um...rarely.

2. What shows do you watch? survivor, mostly lifetime movies

3. Why do you watch these show? survivor cuz i like the competition, lifetime cuz they mostly have human interest stories (my husband says its manbashing cahnnel tho)

4. How long have you watched the show? survivor since it started 7 yrs i think? and about same time for lifetime movies maybe longer

5. Do you ever talk to your friends about the show? What do you say? no, i have no friends

6. Can you relate to any of the characters? usually not in survivor but yes for lifetime depending on situation

forgot to add my fav channel is discovery health channel. i like to learn about new and old diseases, see gross surgeries etc.

2. What shows do you watch? My favoritest show is survivor. Then surreal life, what not to wear, the makeover shows, and any reality show that isn't "kissy kissy".

3. Why do you watch these show? I guess I need more "reality" in my life. Actually, it is mindless entertainement for me.

4. How long have you watched the show? Since they started.

5. Do you ever talk to your friends about the show? What do you say? Not really. I probably wouldn't admit to watching them!

6. Can you relate to any of the characters? Just the poor ladies who don't know what to wear....though through the show, I've gotten some good ideas on how to dress right!

2. When we had television, I watched THE REAL WORLD (love Mtv)
3. I like to look for fashion, and like to see how 7 people act living together, and think of what I would do in their situations.

5. me and my dad talk about it. We talk about how the people act, look.. and we judge them, by personality and stuff.... we really got addicted to it. My MOM HATES that my 50 yr old dad loves the Real World... I can not even tell you how many times they've fought about it ! LOL We also watch the SurReal Life..

6. Yes... there is always one character you will relate to every season..
