Supplement Deals!!

I know this might seem like spamming, but I've got a good reason. My main supplier of protein supps, the local vitamin store, jacked their prices up about 20 freakin bucks. So it will cost $55 bucks to get 5 lbs of protein...that sucks! Two months ago it would have cost me $35.

Apparently they are giving credit to manufacturers jacking up their prices, so they need to jack up theirs. Maybe you've experienced something similar.

So this thread could be cool if it's like an ongoing thing where people will post links to deals they find online, like mreik did in a previous thread about cheap supps on Amazon.com.

I was actually wondering about whether it would be cheapter to buy whey protein or continue buying tuna.

Did some research, and I get WAY more protein for the same price of tuna cans.
for 9-10 bucks i can get around 304-330

Where as to whey..theres like 14 servings for 20grams of protein..and it's like 25$

Tuna FTW!

True that bit I think convenience, versatility (in terms of use and flavours) and ease of digestion has to be worth something!

Chunk light will deff win but 3 cans/day is my limit.. I'm tired of walking into walls lol..

Whoever posted that BJs or SAMs club link had EAS protein for cheap. Like ~30-35$ for 6lbs..

You inspired me to crack some cans open.

Unfortunately, tuna gets old. Chocolate protein, on the other hand... :)

Nah, but for 35 bucks you can (or I used to) get 26,880 g of protein. For the convenience, you can't beat it. I'd hate lugging around huge amounts of meat stashed in a cooler in my car.

Here's a quick link to the Sam's Club page:
http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=355989

It's $28.82 for 6 lbs.
90 servings at 23g each = 2070g total

Read that other thread for opinions on the product. They also have vanilla.

You have to be a Sam's Club member and you must pick up in store.

One of the best deals on whey + casien protein powder is still at
$39 for 5lbs of good stuff. 80 servings I think, so 50 cents per 24g.

and they have frequent sales/discounts as well as bulk buy discounts (3 tubs or more I think)

I've been eating tuna daily for a long time now, and it hasn't gotten old to me.Still delicious.

I don't see where it says 90 servings, but if thats true then 2070g protein for 29$ is a good deal.
Question. How many calories per serving?

I hate the way tuna tastes, but it's far to healthy and too good of a protein source for me to let it go.. so I eat 2-3 cans/day lol
