Supplement Basics: Need Advice.....

Alright, I am in the process of preparing for basic training for the Marine Corps. I leave July 17, 2006. I want to make sure I'm in good shape, right now I can barely run a full mile with out passing out, and I wanted to know if there is anything as far as supplements go that are good for me and will help me build muscle, and increase endurance? Or, are there any programs, or what advice, do you guys have for me to make as much of a improvement as posible before I leave. I'm pretty impatient and want to see improvements pretty quick, but want to do something that I can commit to and do everyday. I have about a hour and a half a day to spare for a program. My goals are to be able to run 3 miles in 22 minutes, and 15 pull ups (I can do about 4 now). What is the advice, I am willing to use supplements but only if they'll really help me, and if they are good for me. Thank You.

Joe

Aside from a multi vitamin and fish oil, the only supplement I can think of is citrulline malate. But you really don't need anything other than exercise to build yourself up for what you need.

In your situation, I'd say check out for some exercise and program information and run often to get ready for boot camp.

Good luck, Marine!
