Sport Sugar Free Red Bull

Sport Fitness
I don't drink them alot or over really but I went snow boarding this weekend and grabbed one to give me some pep. I like the taste and it seems like it has mostly b-6/12 and Inositol and other stuff. How bad are sugar free red bulls for you? are some of the other ingredients damaging or good for you?

Yuck!
Sorry- I just hate the taste, and hate the smell even more- someone opens a can on public transport and the whole carrage is filled with redbull sickly chemical stench!

I'd say they can't be that good for you, a shot or two of caffiene isn't bad but to have them every day may give you a caffiene dependancy which could be at best hard to shake and at worst hamper your training by undermining you, making you believe you cannot get by without it and making you feel you need to rest alot to catch up on what you did do when you took the drink.

I also think they must have tonnes of sweeteners in- they taste overly sweet and this opens up a whole can of worms about sweeteners and their cancerous effects, dependancy, screwing up the bodies hunger signals...the list is endless!

I'd say rough rule of thumb is little and not very often, you should be fine. Just please, if you live in London, do NOT drink this stuff on the tube/bus/train- it makes my life a misery! (It does actually make me feel sick/nautious)

it has been shown that the sugar free redbull, can make the blood "sticky" and have a deleterious effect on your circulation. Also, ECG's from college students taking redbull show that within a half an hour of taking the drink, the heart looks like the hear tof a smoker, beating at a arythmic pace. So yeah, little and less often is better. Dont rely ont he stuff. My fiancee is in veterinary school and drinks about 3 a day, and cannot survive without it now and crashes to sleep whenever she is without it. It also increases irritability if taken often. Some people take a can before a workout to increase energy. I dont see any problem with this if you work out 3 times a week, but every day is bad, and before cardio is even worse as it dehydrates your body.
REDBULL = NO GOOD.
