How many calories are there in a subway meal? For example I tend to go for the lightest option on the menu - turkey, ham, tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, light mayo, wheaten roll. Yet I suspect they've sneaked in hidden calories as fast food outlets tend to do. To spite us and keep us fat :)

The highest calories from a sub come from the sauce and the cheese . Just don't exagerate on these and you've got a perfectly healthy meal . Besides that wheat bread is still caloric it's full of good stuff too, olives are caloric also, i don't eat olives myself. Choose lean meats, avoid the rib stuff that are full of fat and bacon, and don't worry about the veggies they are barely caloric. I've been going to school and working at a sub restaurant for 2 years and i eat subs 6days a week. It's just about portion and comon sense in my opinion.
 
I always make mine into spinach salads! They're really great and delicious! Takes the carbs out of it as well!
 
They tend to have it on their menus. But it can range from 200-500 cals depending on what you get.

Go for a salad if you take your time and put your folk down in between mouthfuls they get rather filling and taste yummy especially with pickles and jalapenos
 
Speaking of Subway - does anyone know of the best kind of meal to order if you want to have a healthy home delivery?
