I have recently started eating the right amount of calories per day in addition to weight lifting and frequent cardio (mostly running some HIIT), however according to my daily allowances I am supposed to eat around 2300-2500 (even with the 500 deficit). I get my lean proteins from either tuna, chicken or eggs with each meal and I get my complex carbs mostly from oatmeal and my fibrous from either peas or lettuce. I also drink about a gallon of water per day. I am pretty slim with not much muscle (I am working on it) nor really all that much fat. I am 18 years old male who bikes and skateboards for my freetime.
The problem is that the past few days have made obvious that this is way more than I ever used to eat because the entire day I feel like I have just finished eating a thanksgiving dinner. Basically I was wondering if this bloated feeling passes once my body gets used to it or did I somehow calculate my calories too high? Also I tried decreasing my starchy carbohydrates, but that doesn't really seem to help.
