Hello everyone, i am new to all of this so be patient with me :iamwithstupid:
So about a year ago me and my boyfriend made a pact to lose weight together, he is a fantastic motivater but the only issue is we can only work out together 2 days a week and quite often we are busy fitting in other social things. Since last year i have lost around 2 stone but i am currently stuck and 12st 12lb and i am really struggling to motivate myself on days i cant workout with the boyf, does anybody have any suggestions as to how i can kick my butt into action and be bikini ready for summer tia xx

How is your diet looking? I can attest from experience that it does not matter how much you exercise, if the diet is not right, the weight will not move the way you want it to.

And you say that you are not motivated to exercise on days your boyf can't exercise with you. that's not good. you have to be the motivating factor, no one else. Have you tried exercise videos that you can lose yourself into? Like maybe Zumba or some Cardio Dance tape that does not feel like exercising? How about taking a walk, you don't have to do it for speed, maybe distance, because every bit of extra exercise helps.

Motivation comes from within, sometimes you need someone (in this case your bf) to help you get going but like transparent said it is not a good sign that you cannot exercise without your bf.

Do you exercise at home or at the gym? If your working out at the gym, most likely the reason why you cannot exercise on your own because of insecurity. If you are working out at home then there is no reason for you to not exercise even without your bf.

If you need help use this forum for motivation. See people who had previous results and are continuing to maintain a healthy body. Lots of ways hun.

I agree diet plays a huge roll in nutrition! Also when I need a bit of additional motivation a turn to a group that I helped create of FB its full of people like me who have a goal and need the support of others to stay accountable. I only invite people who I feel are positve and inspirational. Maybe start a workout group of your own, or look to some of the motivational threads on this site.

Its not a big deal. you need motivation then checkout adnan sami a pakistani singer who loose a lots of weight recently. I think you will be motivated easily.

I motivated myself by a small trick that I learnt with a lot of practice and I have been able to lost an average of 1.5 pounds a day for the last 25 days. It is just unbelievable! :hurray: :willy_nilly::cheers2:

Do not worry, you just need motivation. It happens to a lot of people. Lack of motivation or losing motivation due to lack or delay in positive results is common. You can hire a fitness trainer for yourself so as to follow the right diet and workout plan. A fitness instructor helps you to motivate and stay dedicated towards your goals well.

You just need to set your goals, follow a good nutritional diet and use workout programs. Also to stay motivated you should listen to music. I always use GymStream - Free Workout Music on my iphone, uplifting and dynamic music, various playlists, it helps me stay on track.
Good luck !
