stretch-marks

ok so i didn't really know where to put this but here it goes. ok i got these big stretch marks on my arms from growing so fast. they are pretty big, ugly, and bright red. i have tried a few things does anyone know what i can use help discolor them, i am pretty sure you cannot make them disappear thank you

i used vitamin E on my inner thighs, and waiste as I lost my weight, over 10 years ago, and it worked pretty good. They are now just indentations, but no color.

so i used to take vitamin e pills then i would take a capsul break it open and rub it in. it was kinda messy but i stopped using it bacsue i didn't really see any results used it for a few months. how long did it take you to see results

It's hit and miss. Genetics play their roll, but you can use Vit E like FF said, or Mederma, or one of the other scar cremes or silicone sheets. I can say when I blew up during my pregnancy, I was told to just use lol, any lol, on my tummy to avoid stretch marks. Sure enough, it worked. I had twins, no stretch marks and I was 30 yrs old. So who knows...but prevention is the best medicine :D

i'm not sure

BUT even today- they are really scars

maybe try to find the mentality of taking a bit of pride in them

it's a tuff one to have allowed ourselves to get so heavy, and then wish we could show no evidence.

I understand.

BUT- you can do lots. Other than a close inspection between my legs, and looking at my waisteline, I have filled mose of it with muslce, and you would never know I used to be a "ball"

i heard maderma was pretty good i am going to try that nex thanks alot. and yeah alot of people say to take pride in them as they are war wounds and they mean alot

Hey bud, you could try out one of those , but I think they're kind of up in the air at this point. My wife used one for a short amount of time.. she didn't like it.

Her friend was the one that originally got her interested in using one. I can't recall the name of it.. but it was a little expensive. My wife didn't buy it, so she went for something cheaper.. I guess that was a bad idea since it didn't do much. So I guess you get what you pay for..

You could also just try to tan a little bit, even with self tanning cream. Once the stretch marks fade a bit, they'll hardly be noticeable. (May be a few years if you don't but anything on them)

stretch marks really bothered me when i was like 15-16 when i first started getting them to the point where i would just cry. I don't think at the time I really understood. Now 7 years later I couldn't really give a ****, kind of don't even notice em' besides you realize a lot of people have em' even if they are skinny, it's weird.

well i live in arizona and i am in the sun everyday lol that doesn't really work cause everytime i hit the weight hard they get more red. oh well doens't look like there is any cure really thanks everyone

Do you look like a prune?

If so.. you'll live.
If not.. you'll live.

I'm coming off of losing an entire person in bodyweight and I still carry around all the excess skin from the weight loss.

And since i'm on the skinny-down... I call mine Shrinkles... LMAO
