Sport strength training with high fiber diet

is eating lots of fiber for strenghth training ( say beans, excellent 4:1 carb : protein ratio for restoring glycogen ) a bad or good idea? ive read up that it can block the obsorbtion of some minerals and even protein and some of thoes extra calories. and i'd figure that it would have you digest more slowly. so..if you got anything on this help meh out cause i dont want to eat my muscles.
 
Fibre will not inhibit the absorption of protein - you don't have to worry about that. I eat a high protein diet, and a high fibre diet. I get at least 30 grams of fibre a day. It's very good for you - complex carbs are very important in every vital body function. Plus, eating high fibre will significantly reduce your risk for colon cancer as you age.
