hey ya'll.. was juz wondering.. lately i'm getting really busy with life and i may not be able to excercise for a month.. since i excercise regularly everyweek before(cardio+strength).. will this make me gain weight? my diets remain the same..

if i don't do cardio and only do crounches and squats will it still help me tone up? my body fat percentage is not really high..i just needa tone up..

All you need is 30 minutes at the end of the day and you're good to go. Put in a cardio-training DVD or purchase a few weights and/or a gazelle glider; all very reasonable as far as cash goes.

Actually cutting down the cardio might actually help you tone up a little more. I was reading on the forum and there's this nutrionist on there that always post who also could be a trainer but they suggest cutting down cardio so you can see your muscles more. So I don't think it would hurt you just to crunches and things like that.

Well thats kind of true, cardio encourages your body to cut down the muscle into smaller more efficient muscle. But I really would not trust the helps your tone up more theory, especially if your trying to lose weight keep the cardio going, crunches will not burn enough calories to see any noticeable changes. As for the gaining weight it depends on a lot of things, such as how clean is your diet and how much did you excercise before. I highly recommend doing squats for lower body but you really should consider an upper body resistance training program as well. If you dont have time, make it, if you cant make it, you dont want it bad enough. Sorry if that seemed harsh but its my belief. Good luck to you and I hope you achieve your goals.

Cutting cardio does help your muscles become more prononced but remember not to cut it out completely. You still need this activity to lose the fat you want too. Just remember you can make small changes in this too, like walk around instead of going on elevators and things or driving. Remember every little bit counts, or do like 10 minutes of cardio like three times a day. It does not have to be all at once. Do it when you have a chance to but do it just don't do it because your life is to busy. Like errtu140 make the time and if you can't then you don't want it as much.
