Stop making excuses!!

Hello everyone! I decided that today will be the day where I stop making excuses for myself as to why I am overweight and why I can't do this or that. I am a 21 (almost 22) year old female that is 200lbs and 5'6-5'7ish. I always make excuses of why I can't work out and I am tired of myself for doing that! Due to certain circumstances, I don't really have a place to store any groceries so I opt to eating out almost everyday. It's making me gain so much weight and my wallet is shrinking!! I have just started a local gym membership in hopes that it will motivate me to start working out, though little at a time. I also decided to try and count my calorie intake.

But because I really have no choice to not eat at home, are there any suggestions you guys recommend in where I should go to get my food? I work right next to a Trader Joe's so I'm sure that's where I'll be getting most of my food from and there's a Panera near by as well. But are there any alternative places where I can get food on the go without getting the heap of calories along with it?

Please any suggestions would help! There have been so many times where I have given up trying to lose weight, but I am trying to make a difference for myself this time!

Indeed. We can find a million reasons to not do something. You have a unique situation where you can't eat at home. That is pretty interesting and difficult. Err storing groceries rather. I'd say buy some tuna, lentil, vegetables, in a can so that you can stock up in your room at the very least. I'll think of some alternatives when I'm free a bit later to suggest. I think Joe's and Panera will be fine places to buy from. But joining a gym and cutting down on the eating out should help a great deal in getting it under control. Nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself. I know you want this and we're all here for you to see you get the weight down and feeling like you want! Feel free to start up a diary in the diary section. Very awe3some people in there, helps keeping tabs of what you ate, gaining advice and ideas to improve what you've got going on, plus keeps you from eating if you're typing, heh. Welcome to our family!
