Wow, this is the first time I'm running into this. I'm getting a stitch in my side when I run. How can I prevent this? I usually eat no less than 45 minutes before I run and usually something light if that matters.
Hi , I get this too...I find it only happens when I have eaten within the hour and alot of food, even if it's light, so maybe try to limit it even more before running. I also find if I stop for a minute and stand or walk while digging in my fingers to the spot (usually under the ribs, right?) and squeze (the thumb behind your back) for a while, kind of massaging it you will be able to continue with minimal pain.
