Sport sticking w/ healthy eating and exercise?

Sport Fitness
anyone have any suggestions of an easy way to stay on track with eating healthy and exercising regularly? I'm trying, but it is so easy, especially with the heat, to say, "oh i'll take the day off from working out," or "i'll just do it tomorrow." i really want to lose weight, but the discipline is a little lacking. any suggestions on how to boost the discipline are more than welcome!
~thanks

I personally like to think about things like what is in our friend LV's sig

**Each meal can bring you one step closer or one step further away from your goal.**

everytime you "cheat" you bring yourself one step further away from your goals. do this 3 times in 1 day, you now have to take 3 steps in the other direction, just to put yourself even. You make your work twice as hard each time you cheat.

Just think about what you want to look like and keep that image in your head. think about the women who will swoon over you when you have that perfect body.

It also helps to keep only healthy foods in the house. Go grocery shopping when you are full. Then everything wont look so dang good. Create a list of all the healthy food, go the the grocery store and dont buy anything but whats on the list. once you get in the routine, its a cinch, but it takes a while.

We are creatures of habit, but you must first develop the habit. The less you cheat the sooner the habit will develop.

Hope this helps

Yep.

and: don't keep any crap food in the house, and keep lots of fresh fruit and veggies, salad mixes...stuff like that handy.
eat most of your starchy carbs 1-2 meals before your workouts, and some sugary carbs in the post workout meal.

find constant ways for new motivation. hell, rent Pumping Iron...if it doesn't inspire you, you'll at least have a few good laughs at Arnold's expense.
