Hello!

I'm new here. I wanted to make a weightloss journal for motivation. My first goal is 90 days without cheating (now until Dec 12).

I'm short, 5'2. My highest weight was 150 lbs.
I'm now 141lbs and my goal is 115/120 lbs.

I will be eating a high fat low carb diet, and try to eat as clean and unprocessed as possible. Also exercise 3x a week.

I will also count calories just to get an idea of how much I'm consuming, but mainly counting my macros. I will shoot for 1200 cals a day and less than 50g carbs daily.


Good luck to anyone on a weight loss journey out there, and wish me luck :)

Day 3 (Day 1 on here)
It's the morning and I don't feel well at all. I don't know if it's the keto flu which I never have experienced before when I've gotten into keto, but if it is I never want to go through this again. I'm going to make myself some coffee with half-and-half and some eggs cooked with avocado oil with tomato and onions and few slices of bacon.

Overall today was a success with my meals. I've been feeling so terrible the last 3 days though. But I'm staying strong and determined.
For dinner I had: big salad with broccoli, lettuce, and kale with ranch and 6 chicken wings. I also made me a strawberry juice with stevia. Only 2 meals today and getting back into Intermittent fasting.

Calories: 1069
Macros: protein 47g, net carbs 22g, fat 84g
 
Day 4 - today I woke up feeling so much better. It felt like the fog finally lifted from my head and my body was back to feeling normal. I also changed my mindset to be more positive in all areas of my life today. I had been very negative and stressed the past couple of weeks. Which contributed to my binging behavior.

Today eating wise was good, but not perfect. I was at about 55 g of carbs, and I ate more calories then I wished. However, I do not feel today was a fail at all because today I started tracking my steps and walked a lot more than I usually do, and I was able to reach 11000 steps, which is crazy! I also worked out with a YouTube video of a Barre workout which is killer. So over all I did hit my calorie goal if I count calories in and calories out.

But from here on out I do want to eat less and also eat way less than 50 g of carbs.

I had 3 meals today: BLT salad with chicken, hard boiled eggs. Large Chilli. And raw vegetables with homemade buffalo chicken dip. yum!

what people consider to be keto flu is caused by an electrolyte imbalance and can be avoided.
