:cheers2:So I have been working on a goal for just a tad bit over a year now. So far I have lost 20lbs on the scale and 14% body fat from my starting point. I have not lifted weights on any consistent basis. Most of the time if I am totally not in the mood for 40 min of cardio then I will lift instead. All my previous years, lifting was the focal point of my regimine. I was pretty damn good at it too. I put on muscle pretty easily, and I got very strong =)

So my original plan when I started was to do four days a week of cardio and for about 45 minutes a day, no lifting. Once I reached 18% body fat then I would incorporate lifting into my routine, focusing ONLY on shoulders, back, with very little triceps and biceps.

So I reached the 18% last month and then the next day I went to Chicago for 4 days. I am quite impressed though because those 4 days were ALL OUT FOOD FESTS! Also drink fests! I ate and drank so much crap, one night I actually threw up. Anyway, I only gained two scale pounds while there.

So I am back home and back on track although I have been screwing around for the past couple of days as well. I'm starting back to the gym this weekend and it is the pedal to the metal. I am quite excited to lower my cardio to about 20-30 minutes and then lifting afterwards. I have 28 days till my next measurement (BF, weight, waist, etc) and my goal at the appt is to be at 15%. If I can be 15% by July 28th then I can be 10-12% by Aug 29th which is when I leave for Boston (another goal):cheers2:
