Staying fit while recovering from Surgery

Hi all! I just had surgery to repair a ligament I ruptured when I sprained my ankle one too many times. Before my injury, I really enjoyed a combination of walking and jogging. Right now, I am in a cast and can't jog or do much else.

Does anybody know some exercises I can do to stay healthy and in shape while I recover?

you can still eat healthy and work out your upper body, right? what about chest and abs?

Don't forget the back (lower and upper)... Antagonist muscles are the key to balance!

If you have ever seen a guy who's shoulders slope forward, you can bet he benches more than he works out his upper back!

LFN is right, try doing some upper body stuff for a bit.

Thanks! I get out of my camboot on Feb. 1st and can start some exercise on my foot on March 14th. I'm excited. It's healing well. -jcwog
