Weight-Loss Staying awake in the after noons

I have been having problems of staying awake around 1:45 to 2:00 every afternoon.. i dose off and i am very groggy. I know i get enough sleep i get a good 9 hours everynight. I normally eat breakfast and have a good lunch. Am i eating to much for lunch? can anyone give me some tips on how to stay energized?
 
this is very normal ... the body likes to take a break at this time during the day. Think about most countries ... they all have a siesta or a sort at that time ... we are the unlucky ones that have to work.
 
Wouldn't it be great to live in Italy or France where they take a break from 1 until 4. I certainly would enjoy it, if I didn't have to drive 45 minutes to work. Can you imagine...that would put me on the road for 3 hours a day.

Back to the topic. If you have the possibility, it might help, if you take a power nap (10 minutes is often enough). Maybe you can go in your car and put the seat back. Make sure to set a certain time and don't sleep until you wake up on your own. It might take a little time to get used to, but it will energize you and get you through the rest of the day.
 
try working on something,try concentrating on your work,thinking about a project,something important for you and you could stay awake very easy...about that,yes,it's very normal for the body to have less energy,it uses it to digest the food in that period...:)
