Best time so far, but haven't pushed it very hard:
8.4k in 30mins. On level 6 (whatever that is), which is 115-140 watts(inaccurate watt meter). This varies wildly because I don't always get to choose so much what I eat :drooling1:
Other stats:
Rockport 1 mile walk test = 60 VO2Max (seems a bit good?) :sport:
29 years old. Generally see myself as unfit, but trying to avoid being very unfit. Max heart rate I think is ~165bpm, but I don't think that was pushing really hard (didn't pass out), so may need to measure that again in a safer environment. For training I cruise at 120bpm, and push it up to 140, smoetimes to 150 and then let it go back down to 130 or 120. These heart rates are using a chest strap.
I did a search thinking I would quickly find a website where I can compare myself to others and find motivation.
I just want to keep an eye on myself because I work at sea and don't want to turn into a blob like most people here. I don't want to be running marathons. I just want to be fit enough to enjoy surfing all day, or a game of half sized football, or a 12 mile bike ride.
