Starting Over and Fresh

Hi everyone...

My name is Yvonne and have struggled with weight since I was a kid. I'm 40ish now and am tired to being tired, overweight and self-concious of my ever expanding midriff.

My heaviest was 198 lbs back in 2002 when I decided to take control and went on the Atkins WOE. I was pretty successful...dropping 40 lbs in a little over a year and probably would have done better had I not drank alcohol and fall off the wagon as they say around the holidays.

Needless to say I started to regain the weight and as of yesterday, I have regained 12 lbs and weight 170. I am not happy with the way I look and noticed that the entire 12 lbs pretty much hit my waist/tummy area :(

I know what one of my problems is.... NOT EXERCISING and I vowed that tomorrow I start pilates and cardio every morning with one day on the weekend off (body needs to rest). I am also going cut back on my saturated fats (namely cheese which is my weakness) and consume no more than 1600 calories (good calories) a day. I am also going to cut back on my alcohol consumption.

So, I found this forum and hope that I get inspiration, support and advice because I know I need all the help I can get :)
