I Have Been Trying To Lose Weight Again Since Oct 10. Its Going Ok, I Guess. I Just Hate That I Gained Some Of The Weight Back That I Have Already Lost. I Know I Will Feel Better As Soon As I Can Fit Into My Clothes Again!!!

Today I Ate:

Breakfast: Banana
Lunch: Steamed Veggies And Yougurt
Dinner: 1 Cup Of Grapes
Drank Water

I Am Really Having A Hard Time Getting The Motivation To Exercise. I Am Going To Try To Start Walking More.

If you lost 90 pounds b4, I know you can do it again. You know what it takes, and how long it takes. Now it's up to you to get into your grove...
Do you still feel hungry at the end of the day with such a small daily intake?
Maybe you should up this by just a little, to get your metabolism moving. Maybe add some in between healty snacks...
And drink plenty of water.
WALKING would be great! Doctor told me I need to start walking... but it's getting so cold out! lol
 
i loathe my job. I am mostly hungry when i go to bed, so I will just drink water. I havent really had much of an appetite lately. My depression is really bad right now, so I am taking some medication which can affect your appetite. Yesterday I only had a six inch chicken sub @ subway for lunch and that was it. I didnt even have the desire to eat anything else. I dont know how much walking should I do a day, an hour?? Its the godforsaken hills that kill me. I better go, I have to go procrastinate about getting ready for work. Thanks for your comment.
 
Have some breakfast mate even if it just a slice of toast or a piece of fruit it will kick start your metabolism. Have a good day.
 
today i ate probably 1 cup to 2 cups maximum of steamed veggies for lunch. i wasnt hungry after that. i dont want to force myself to eat if i am not hungry. i tried that in the morning once, and it made me feel really nauseated. i just have zero appetite after lunch. its frustrating because i know that i should be eating more. i'll just wait for my appetite to come back, IT ALWAYS DOES!! :)
 
this is normal if you normally skip breakfast. your body isn't used to eating. your metabolism isn't used to starting up until later in the day, so your body simply is telling you not to feed it yet ... it basically doesn't want to get confused as to when to start working. you have to retrain your body into eating normal meals ... start small. It should take 2-3 weeks maximum to get the body going again.
 
:mad: has anyone that has lost a lot of weight get almost refused if they have to buy something that requires photo id??? this has happend to me so many times, i am getting really frustrated about it. when i bought my lottery ticket today i got asked for my id. i pull it out and she starts staring at it and looking at me. i thought here we go again. She says this doesnt even look like you. Well no sh**, you tend to look different you drop lots of weight. i just stand there downfounded at their ignorance. any ideas on what to say?? because the next time i want to be ready. :mad:

as for eating, well i would love to say i am eating as much as i should. after that last entry of only eating the steamed veggies, i had nothing at all the next day. yesterday all i had was a couple scoops of non fat yougurt. today i thought that i would force myself to eat, because i know something bad will happen if i dont get something more than yougurt in me. I walked to subway and bought a 6 inch roast chicken sub. then that was it for the day again. tomorrow i will try eating soup. the weight is coming off really quick, due to lack of food intake. i havent even really had the energy to exercise. i went to that gym tonight for the first time in awhile. my legs felt like rubber after!! i couldnt even think about lifting weights. i have been going out for coffee and i order a non fat skim latte with a shot of sugar free hazelnut from starbucks. are those packed with calories like all the rest of them??
 
Good luck on your weight loss goals. I am sorry to hear you are battling depression and I hope it diminishes soon. As for your latte, I enjoy a starbucks drink daily! It gives me something to look forward to, and is something I really enjoy. The calories you are getting are coming only from the milk. The espresso shot(s) don't add calories, nor does the sugar-free syrup. According to the starbucks.com website, your non-fat latte with sugar-free hazelnut syrup has 120 cals for a tall, 160 cals for a grande, and 210 for a venti. There are even some frozen drinks that are good when you want to give yourself a treat and they won't wreck your diet. A few I will suggest are:

Caramel Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee (3 WW Points) - 140 calories 1.5g fat, 28 carbs, 2g fiber, 21g sugar, 5g protein

Coffee Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee (2 WW Points) - 110 calories, 1g fat, 22 carbs, 2g fiber, 15g sugar, 5g protein

Espresso Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee (2 WW Points) - 100 calories, 0.5g fat, 19 carbs, 2g fiber, 15g sugar, 5g protein

Mocha Frappuccino Light Blended Coffee (2 WW Points) - 140 calories, 0.5g fat, 28 carbs, 3g fiber, 19g sugar, 5g protein

you may know that the reason you have no energy and one reason for your depression is cause you are giving your body almost no fuel to run on. ...
Your body, although not telling you its hungry, may be feeling rejected...
If you are not hungry... do you drink water or anything?
Maybe you can drink some protein or supplament shakes or something to fuel your body, if you dont feel like eating.....
Hope you cheer up soon.... It sucks when your feeling down.... been there, done that.... kinda there now!
 
Hi, I am new here and trying to lose weight myself...but i can tell you, you will lose the wrong kind of weight eating the way you do. Your muscles will begin to become the protein your body needs...and you don't want that...you wouldn't put water in your gas tank...so fill yourself with a balance of healthy fat...protein and veggies/fruit..and it will work..hope you don't mind my post...I was just worried that you will harm yourself more than help...good luck
 
thank you for all the information about the starbucks drinks, that new drink i tried was sooo good. i guess that will replace my precious slurpees. thanks to everyone else that posted their opinions about things i can do. i am drinking water and went out for lunch the other day. i dont know if this happens to anyone else, but i keep having these dreams about eating some sort of fattening food or candy and feeling really guilty. then i wake up and realize thank god that it was just a dream. same thing happend when i quit smoking, i would have dreams about smoking again. its really weird. is it a subconcious thing, i guess?
