Hey guys ! My name is John and I'm 19 years old. Im 5.5 Feet Tall And Weight About 264lbs. Already 10 Down :)

Long Story Short, ive Fought All My Life Againt obesity. I Have Tried Over 15 Different Treatments and Diets And Never Had Considerable Results.

This Time, Something Completely Changed: I Started A New treatment, And From One day To Another Weightloss Became my Number one Priority. Even More Important To Me Right Now Than University. I Was Sedentary For Months And Now Im Doing 19 Miles On a Bike Daily ( And Im Addicted To It) + Weightlifting. I Never Experienced This Mindset Of ENJOYING My Weightloss Journey Until Now.

Do You Think Radical Lifestyle Changes Are Bad, Or Is It The Way To Go ? Is There Anyone On A Similar Situation?

THANKS In Advance !

hey john how did you start and how do you keep motivated?

Welcome. I think you need to find something you love which you seem to have done. Your love of biking will keep you motivated. Maybe start looking at your food as an energy source for your biking.

Honestly I re started after some negative things that happened to me because of my overweight. The first thing I did was making a list of the things I would gain if I loose weight and viceversa. That was a huge motivation for me.

Hi!

II'm 19 years old too, and been struggling with yo-yo diets all my life! I really hope you have all the success in pursuing your goals. I'm going to take your idea and write down what I could possibly benefit from if I lose weight and what makes me unhappy about being fat, and pin it somewhere I can see when I wake up every day.
