Started my journey towards Weight Loss

Hi everyone. I am Alekhya. I am 25 years old and I am not happy with my weight. I put on a lot of weight from past 3 years and cannot find enough motivation to reduce. I currently weigh 99 kg/218 lbs. I cannot wear any of my good clothes anymore and many times I am just shy to go out with friends or meeting old friends, because of my weight. I tried Keto diet in the past for week. After a week, I gave in and couldn't make any change in my weight. I am seriously tired of being over weight. I want to reduce 30 kgs/64lbs. I am not even sure, If I can go back to 70 ever. I started Keto diet again two days back. This time, I really don't wanna quit. I want to reduce my weight. What is the best way to be motivated and stay on the diet and reduce weight? How many months does it usually take to reduce from 99kg/218lbs to 70kg/154lbs on keto diet? It will be realy helpful, if someone could answer these.
 
Welcome to the forum

All diets take time to work, keto is no different. you also need to be adapted to keto before you see fat loss, the initial loss on keto is just water weight.

Information needed when asking for help

What are your macros ? Calories? it is also possible to gain on keto, as it is a lifestyle/way of eating for either weight loss or muscle gain and not a crash diet, don't look at keto as a quick fix

I have been keto for years, both to loose fat and build lean strong muscle.

I would also suggest starting a thread in the diary section as community support is a good way of keeping motivated for the long haul.
