Hi everyone, my name is Rob. I started a weight loss plan a couple days ago and created a diary. I’m happy to be here and grateful for the space to work through it and the support and information from all of you. Before, I didn’t have a strong interest in fitness but I always tried to be healthy and I really loved to run. In my 30s and for a number of reasons, my health started to decline significantly and got very poor. In the past year or so I have started to turn it around. I stopped running (and exercising) for several years but started back up in February. I have a renewed and strong commitment to my health now and never want to go down the path I was headed down again. I turn 40 this month and want to be the healthiest version of me I can be for the rest of my life as I still have a lot of living to do. I’ll be working towards losing a lot of weight (65 pounds is my goal) and I’m interested in learning all about aerobic exercise, strength training, and healthy eating along the way.
