sprints help

in the sport i play it requires short burts of speed over a short distance(anywhere from 5 to 25 yrds) and quickly changing directions and i was wondering how i can get faster at these sprints and direction changing and its very tiring and so how would u improve endurance for sprints?
would just doing more sprints help?
 
Yes, I think the best way to improve your speed is by practicing sprinting. Additionally you can work your legs by doing squats etc.
 
Improve acceleration by doing leaps
if longest distance is 25 yards make sure you can hit top speed within 3 strides - this is technique nothing else (short distance need to hit top speed quickly!!)
again, as sprinting longest distance is 25 yards then make sure you can do 100yards flat out at your peak speed - combine all this and you're primed for 5-25 sprinting

Question - is this for rugby? 2nd row?

Only ask because I have to do the exact same stuff!
